The Eastside Republican Club Political Action Committee has announced Judge Michael Warren as speaker for the P.A.C.’s annual fundraiser set for 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. Judge Michael Warren has served on the Oakland County Circuit Court since 2002, establishing himself as one of Michigan's most accomplished and respected jurists. Over his tenure, he has presided over more than 400 jury trials and over 1,000 days of trial proceedings — more trial experience than the entire current Michigan Supreme Court combined. He interprets the law as written and does not legislate from the bench.

John Goldwater is a husband, father of six children, and has a deep love for our country and community, running for MI Senate District 12. Born in Mt Clemens, raised just minutes from Lake St. Clair, and resides in New Baltimore. Fed up with the soaring cost of living that is crushing families, and the radical left's agenda for our country, John felt a deep sense of duty to stand up and do something about it. John earned degrees in Business Management and Economics from Northwood University, where he also played football and ran track. Through the years, he has put those skills to good use, achieving success in a variety of business endeavors in the beverage and energy industries.

Formally known as The Thomas R. McCleary Jr. Eastside Republican Club Political Action Committee, the P.A.C. is named in memory of one of the ERC’s original members, Tom McCleary, who also served as a P.A.C. director. The P.A.C. operates independently from the Eastside Republican Club.

The dress code is business casual, and a cash bar will be available.
